Is MeMap a certification body?
No. MeMap is data infrastructure: we aggregate and transparently display available evidence alongside a clear verification level. Certificates are issued by accredited bodies.
Do farmers have to pay to list a profile on MeMap?
No. Smallholders, cooperatives, and producers create a basic profile for free.
How does Level 2 "community confirmed" work?
Volunteers and cooperatives in the MeMap network visit farms on site to confirm coordinates, photos, and active cultivation. You can join via the Volunteer.
Who owns the data on MeMap?
Farm households own their data and can edit it or request data deletion at any time.
Does MeMap help businesses comply with EUDR?
MeMap helps collect and standardize the plot-level data required by EUDR, such as coordinates and producer records. Formal due diligence and declaration submission remain the responsibility of the enterprise.
